Q&A
What led you to pursue a career in manufacturing?
Ever since I was a toddler, I was always fascinated by the planes I would see flying over my house. I remember my first time on a plane, racking my brain, trying to figure out how this huge hunk of machinery was able to fly so fast and so high in the sky. Because of my fascination with this field, joining the aerospace sector seemed like a no-brainer.
What has your journey been like?
So far, this journey has been extremely fun and educational. Since starting at Atlas, I have been placed in a team-oriented atmosphere where I feel I can thrive. I’m also able to watch a key part of the airplane-building process firsthand.
What have you learned about yourself?
I have learned that I am very passionate about this field. I have also learned how important it is to be surrounded by a great team with my same level of passion.
It has become clear to me that no matter how hard one person works, it takes the cohesion of the entire company to be successful, and I think we have found that here at Atlas.
Do you have any advice for people interested in a career in manufacturing?
Manufacturing is not an overly difficult field to work in. I have found that even joining at entry level, there is a ton of room for growth and choices on career paths within the workplace.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love hanging out with friends and visiting new places together. If I’m not enjoying time outdoors, I would also say I’m a pretty big gamer.
