Design and create the processes to manufacture parts utilizing both additive and subtractive technologies. I also program and implement the processes on the machines.

How do you find meaning in it?

I’ve always found it fascinating to be able to sculpt complex parts using a computer as a tool. It’s my passion and feel it’s very fulfilling to see my work as part of rocket and jet engines.

What led you to a career in manufacturing?

I’ve always loved to see how things work and how they are made. I attended a trade school for electronics/mechanical courses and always loved working with my hands. One of my first jobs was in manufacturing and instantly knew it was for me.

Do you have any advice for people thinking about a manufacturing career?

Always look for advancement and never think you know it all. The technologies and methods are forever advancing and progressing. So should you.

Do you have any strong interests or passions outside of work?

I have a very strong passion for being in nature. Sailing, swimming, hiking, and snowboarding. I also love traveling abroad, meeting and learning about people of different cultures.
